Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 May 2026
Echo Maze is a browser game created by Thomas Zaffalon. This page explains what data the game stores on your device and what it does (and does not) do with it.
1. Who runs this site
The game is developed and operated by Thomas Zaffalon. For any privacy question you can reach me through tommyzaffa.com.
2. What we collect
We do not collect personal data. Echo Maze has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party scripts. The game runs entirely in your browser.
3. Local storage (“cookies”)
The game uses your browser’s localStorage to remember your preferences and progress between sessions. These are stored only on your device and are never sent to any server. Specifically, we save:
- your selected language;
- your custom keyboard bindings;
- game progress (run state, unlocked items, settings).
These items are strictly necessary for the game to work as expected. They are not used for tracking or profiling. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings (“Clear site data” / “Clear cookies and storage” for this domain).
4. Third parties
The game itself does not load third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. If you click external links (for example to tommyzaffa.com), those destinations have their own privacy policies.
5. Your rights
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing for us to share, delete or correct. You remain in full control of your local game data through your browser.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
